The pH of the soap will have a noticeable effect on the "sliminess".
Lower pH soaps will tend to feel less slick.
Sodium-based soaps will react with sodium electrolytes to make the water feel slicker.
Potassium-based soaps will react with potassium electrolytes to make the water feel slicker.
