View Full Version : INGE hollow-fibre pressure-driven ultrafiltration membrane and modules
Hi Greg,
Can you tell/teach us more about the INGE product line? Is the Dizzer 220/440 or 3000/5000 the appropriate residential product?
thanks so much, David

INGE markets primarily to the commercial/industrial market, so you don't see much of their produt around in the residential market.
The elements we use are the Dizzer 3000.
We use the dizzer element with composite housing from Pentair (codeline) and dive it with our Evertech control center to coordinate backwash, pur-gard feed and forward flush functions.
I love the peace of mind knowing that it is protecting the client from non-pathogenic and even pathogenic organisms. I've used them to remove colloids, ocidized h2s and even as pretreat for Nanofilters & RO.
Did I mention that I really like the technology ?:D

We use the same elements and are very happy with them

Ion, do you guys run into tannis much in your area ?
If so, are you having any issues with membrane element fouling ?

No fouling yet. We do have tannins & lignins.
I use your evertech controller to feed caustic into the membrane before each backwash and it seems to work a treat

Hi all,
I am using Chinese ones. Years ago I used the Inge. I am very scared about Chinese and this is the onyl item i am buying from them.
Results are pretty good in areas, where prefilter lifetime before RO is instead of weeks only some hours.
Backwashes and disinfection controlled by PLC Siemens and touch panel.

Whats the quality like on the Chinese ones? We use Zenon zeeweed and the Inge also. Are you disinfecting with quats or something else?

We use the UF elements only for pre tretment before softener and RO CDI in pharmaceutical water applications. They perform well. To check on quality one can see the reduction of bioburden and endotoxines in the UF filtrate. I have seen other companies, using them on potable applications as well. generally I am careful with Chinese goods, but in this case the are OK. On the last Aquatec in Amsterdam I have seen that another comapny copies the Litree modules and sell them for half price of Litree. Funny! Chinese copy Chinese!
